November 18, 2016 - Graduate students Jinglin Huang and Cong Wang are runner ups for the 2016 Dow Sustainability Innovation Student Challenge Award (SISCA). SISCA is an annual prize program which rewards students for innovative research in sustainable solutions. Congratulations!

September 26, 2016 - Professor Jay Nadeau received an F1000 Prime Recommendation for her Astrobiology publication entitled "Microbial Morphology and Motility as Biosignatures for Outer Planet Missions". The recommendation, and comments from the reviewer can be found here

July 14, 2016 - Professor Mory Gharib steps down from Caltech's Vice Provost after serving six years. More information can be found here.

March 23, 2016 - Professor Mory Gharib is interviewed by Caltech's Breakthrough campaign for creating the Gharib Family Endowment together with his wife and two daughters. The fellowship supports students in the field of bioinspired engineering.

June 26, 2015 - The American Physical Society (APS) has selected Professor Mory Gharib to receive the 2015 Fluid Dynamics Prize for outstanding contributions to fundamental fluid dynamics research. Read the news article here.
