Glaukos is the company that developed the iStent device, a micro-bypass stent used to treat mild to moderate open-angle glaucoma in patients. 

The company was formed by Mr. Bergheim, Dr. Hill and Professor Gharib. Professor Gharib provided the fluid mechanics of the design, as well as technical leadership.
